The Ridges Stocking Cap Marshmallow Mug Hat Free Pattern.

This hat is an intermediate pattern for a Valentines day marshmallow mug hat. You can also change up the colors and make it for any holiday or theme you want.

There is a printable pdf version in my esty shop. This pdf form is a ad free and easy to print.

To be able to do this projects, besides the materials listed below, you will need to know how to work in the 3rd loop of a stitch and how to half double crochet two stitches togother (hd2tog). There are a bunch of picture tutorials, but if you are having a hard time with working stitches in the 3rd loop I have made a beginner friendly version here that has a similar look but with out the ribbing made by working in the 3rd loop.

Youtube has some great tutorials on working a half double crochet in the 3rd loop. I highly recommend Tamara from Moogly’s video tutorial on this method. (The universe has not aligned for me to make my own videos yet 🙂 )
